Georgie says: We recently got married at Villa M in Umalas. Villa M highly recommended the use of Imp Winartho’s as the photographer. We had thought intially that we did not need the services of a professional photographer…what a mistake that would have been! While we got some lovely casual photos taken by our friends and family, the photos taken by Imp Winartho were breathtaking. We did not wanted lots of posed photos, just lots of snippets capturing the moments throughtout the day and we could not be more pleased. The photographers were not highly visable but were yet able to capture all the special moments in the ceremony and at the reception. Many photos were taken from interesting angles, creating unique photos that would be impossible to replicate. The scenery at Villa M was beautiful and Imp Winartho’s photographs accentuate the beauty even more. We also really appreciated how quickly the photos were given to us. I have never seen professional photos like this before and I highly recommend Imp Winartho for wedding photography. Imp Winartho’s passion for photography is evident in each and everyone of his photos, we are just so greatful he was apart of our day.
Susi Johnston says: I keep coming across the work of a particular Indonesian photographer, Imp Winartho. His Ubud royal cremation photos are among the most dramatic and technically perfect out there. Frankly, I don’t know how he managed to process his raw files and perfect his finished work so quickly, as his images were posted almost before the cremation pyre cooled off. This gives me the impression that Imp is a die-hard, serious, professional photographer, and a browse through his site and his flickr photostream confirms this. This man was apparently born with a camera in his hands. [ ...read more ]
Fein W says: Imp Winartho’s photographs are quite extraordinary. He has a rare talent and an incredible eye for detail. Whether he is taking pictures of everyday life, places, people, animals, the elements, nature, cultural events, action or still life, his images truly capture the atmosphere, while also exploring the play of shadow, light and reflections. Furthermore, the pictures are taken from some really unusual angles, the results of which are testament to this photographer’s expertise, resourcefulness and ingenuity.
His photographs of Villa M Bali are particularly beautiful, every single picture he took is amazing and each one is quite different from all of the others. The photographs possess a sense of simplicity; capture the most remarkable image, while at the same time conveying beauty and qualities. And he’s certain not afraid to venture into unusual territory. Furthermore, the detial and form of the images point the viewer in a particular direction without forcing a single point of view.
Villa M and the rest of the team are really grateful that Win had time in his busy schedule to take the photographs for Villa M, and we are proud to present the image on our website www.villambali.com by the end of September.

Looking to his capture, instantly we all understand 21win/ Winartho is a man with cheerful heart & great sense of humour. But at the same time he has humble heart & compassion heart, he may catch special moment with heart.
